My work is mainly acrylic on wood, My emerging style has initially focused on my biculturalism, an expression of my Māori (Ngāti Porou) and Dutch heritage.
I’m a proud Southlander and my work is inspired by family, identity, community, nature and connection.
I work with a family-owned business in Invercargill, Cameo Picture Framers, to create reproductions of my original pieces as high quality giclee prints on archival paper. Cameo also offer high quality professional framing which is an option available when purchasing your piece.
We have recently collaborated on a significant community project providing art for 68 rooms in the ILT’s The Langlands hotel in the Invercargill CBD. This project has included producing 136 hand-signed, professionally-framed prints.
